Second International Conference MPOR 2024: "International Law in the New Realities of the 21st Century"

The Second International Conference MPOR 2024 will be held in Moscow, Russia, on March 25-26, 2024. The conference is organized by the Moscow Public Institute of International Law (MPOR) and is supported by the Russian Association of International Law (RAIL).

Conference Theme

The theme of the conference is "International Law in the New Realities of the 21st Century." The conference will explore the latest developments and challenges in international law in the face of a rapidly changing global landscape. The conference will focus on the following topics:

• The role of international law in a globalized world
• The challenges to international law in the 21st century
• The future of international law

Conference Format

The conference will be held in a hybrid format, with both in-person and virtual participation options. The in-person conference will be held at the Moscow Public Institute of International Law in Moscow, Russia. The virtual conference will be held on a dedicated online platform.

The conference will feature keynote speeches by leading scholars and experts in international law. The conference will also include panel discussions, workshops, and roundtable sessions.

Call for Papers

Scholars, researchers, and practitioners from around the world are invited to submit papers for presentation at the conference. Papers should be original and should not have been published elsewhere. Papers should be submitted by December 1st, 2023.

Papers should be between 5,000 and 8,000 words in length. Papers should be written in English or Russian. Papers should be submitted electronically to the conference secretariat at [email protected].

Registration

Registration for the conference is now open. The registration fee for the in-person conference is $300. The registration fee for the virtual conference is $150.
